Best Brownies

6 ounces dark chocolate
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 large eggs (at room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Melt the chocolate bars and the butter over low heat until they are both completely melted.
I another bowl add sugar melted chocolate, vanilla, salt and eggs.
Mix in flour until well blended. Stir in walnuts. Grease a 13×9 inch pan and pour in the batter.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Do not overbake and check the brownies with a toothpick ( that it comes out almost clean) at 30 in pan and then cut into squares. -christine
